BILL WADMAN

Bill Wadman is an American portrait photographer. His images have been seen on the cover and pages of major publications throughout the world. Bill mainly focuses on portraits and conceptual photographs within his work but has also done a collective of short films and projects such as, ‘Drabbles’ ‘365 Portraits’ ‘Panels’ ‘Type 55’ ‘Corner’ and ‘Dancers in Motion’ which I took a interest to.

I really enjoy how he has captured the dancer(s) within the movement  of their dances. The use of the wide aperture and slow shutter speed has made the photograph look like there is multiple dancers within the shot.

Referring back to my initial ideas, I want to stick to the theme of ‘feelings’ so using this idea I will incorporate ‘feelings’ into my own work.
