To make my photographs more personal, I asked my model where her favourite place was to be so I could take photographs relating to this place. My model loves to hike so we went to some of the places she visits quite a lot and here are a collection of photos from three photo shoots that I have took over period of time.

After doing all of my artist research, Jon Duenas is my favourite artist and I am thinking about doing a final piece based on his work. In this photoshoot I only really wanted to focus on the face because I think it would look really interesting to pick a portrait and almost match it to an overlay to make it look like e.g. buildings are coming out of the models eyes (as seen on my pinterest page). Also it created great silhouettes and you can distinctively see the models features.

This was my first attempt of doing double exposure photographs and it didn't turn out as well as I hoped. However, I did decide that double exposure was what I wanted to do for my final piece so I went on YouTube and viewed some tutorials to perfect my editing.

First attempt;

Here are some photos that I re shot to practice on my double exposure. Instead of editing more photos for my mock exam I decided to keep these and just go back on photoshop to perfect the editing. I felt that these photographs, as shown on contact sheet worked better because they are stonger potraits. The side on portraits create a strong adstract look once edited.

To make the portraits less visible I changed the brightness and contrast of my photo. It created a look that appaeared the photo to be under exposed which is what I wanted for my final outcome.
